We, the Anstee & Ware Group of Companies, are committed to continuous improvement in all aspects of environmental protection by :

• Taking all practical steps to comply with the letter and the spirit of all environmental legislation and regulations and wherever possible, anticipate future standards of environmental protection.
• Committing to the ISO 14001 : 1996 standard as the basis for our environmental management standard.
• Preventing pollution and minimising environmental risks to our employees, contractors, customers and communities in which we operate, by the use of safe working practices and management systems which ensure the provision of training, advice, information and supervision.
• Reviewing our performance on environmental matters and setting appropriate targets for future development.
• Exercising due care and attention in the disposal of our waste materials, encouraging recycling wherever possible and where practicable reducing the environmental impact of any waste products, noise or vibration.
• Providing any information to our customers, suppliers and employees to help with the areas of health, safety and environment.
• Our commitment to responsible energy management and promoting energy efficiency throughout our own and our customers' operations.

This policy is implemented through the procedures detailed in the Environmental Management System Manual, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

This policy and associated procedures are reviewed and updated periodically. Any observations and suggestions relative to them should be passed to the

Group H&S, Environmental and Quality Assurance Manager (contact details).
