purchase of the business operations of Gwinnutts

The Anstee & Ware Group, established in Bristol 59 years ago, continued their rapid expansion by the purchase of the business operations of Gwinnutts in Cardiff.

Gwinnutt are an established engineering service provider operating from a bespoke building and have a variety of clients which will compliment the growing client portfolio of the Anstee Ware Group.

This latest development aims to increase the Group’s service capacity and further develop the established business in South Wales. The business will maintain continuity of supply to Gwinnutt’s and Anstee & Ware (Wales) Ltd’s clients and contribute to the Group’s turnover of £25M.

Mike Trigg, the Managing Director of the Anstee Ware Group stated
"This investment will support the manufacturing and utility sectors in South Wales. Our existing clients at Anstee & Ware ( Wales ) Ltd and Gwinnutt’s client base will jointly benefit from the stability, increased capacities and experience that this acquisition can offer. We are keen to further invest and develop the 30,000 sq ft facility to provide the best equipped 24 hour electrical/mechanical workshop in South Wales. This further demonstrates our confidence in the future of the Welsh Industry."
